Do you have a background in carpentry, framing, or woodworking and enjoy seeing a project come together? Southern Staircase is looking for a skilled Stair Installer & Delivery Specialist to help bring custom staircase designs to life at residential and commercial construction sites.

This is a hands-on construction role that combines staircase installation with material delivery. Installation is the primary focus, so this opportunity is best suited for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems on-site, and producing quality work—not someone looking for a delivery-only position.

What You'll Do

As part of our installation team, you'll help ensure staircase systems are delivered safely and installed correctly.

• Install straight, curved, and custom staircase systems at residential and commercial job sites.

• Follow construction drawings, measurements, layouts, and installation instructions.

• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, level, shim, fit, and secure staircase components.

• Load, transport, and unload staircase materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

• Operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver materials to scheduled job sites.

• Assist with warehouse duties when needed to support daily operations.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• At least 2 years of experience in framing, carpentry, woodworking, or a related construction trade (required).

• Experience using common construction tools, including drills, saws, levels, and tape measures.

• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including outdoor job-site duties.

• A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

• A current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.

• To be at least 21 years old.
